Rune Aasgaard has more than 25 years of international experience as a project manager and management consultant. He has the equivalent of an M.Sc. in computer science from the Norwegian Institute of Technology (NTH, now NTNU) and an MBA from University of California, Berkeley.
Rune has held leading roles in all phases of large and small technology projects, from strategy and business development to design, development, testing, and rollout of systems and business processes. He has broad experience in coordinating activities and ensuring progress across disciplines, organizations, and countries.
He is a certified mediator (Norwegian Bar Association) and well familiar with the range of conflicts that can arise between customers and vendors on IT projects.

Engaged by Accenture to lead their largest agile development project in Telenor: Implementation of a new product model in about 30 different systems in the mobile value chain, including all channels. 50-60 designers and developers in Norway and India (Bangalore).
Engaged by Telenor to lead planning and coordination of all quality assurance and testing (technical, functional, business) of their new value chain for 4G.
Engaged by Accenture to lead testing of Altinn II, the norwegian portal for public reporting, developed by Accenture in India (Bangalore).
Project integrated mediatior ("PRIME") in a project between Oslo Metro and Siemens. I provide insights, advice, 1:1 conversations, and formal mediation sessions to resolve conflicts between the parties.
Technical co-mediator during three court-administered mediations of IT-cases in Oslo district court.
Chosen by the parties as co-judge with subject matter expertise during the "Grindgut"-case in Oslo district court, where the Norwegian Public Roads administration sued IBM over a failed project to install a new solution for administering toll roads.
Hired by one party to write a report with independent, non-legal evaluations of key topics in the case, and testify about these in Oslo district court.
